I'm irregular Can I go back on taking birth control pills after I missed a period & a negative pregnancy test?

I own irregular period and be on the pill continuously for 2 years. A few months ago I go sour of it. Now I'm sexually live again and I missed my time on this historic month of July. I took a pregnancy interview and come out to be unenthusiastic. I plan to jump stern on the pill as soon as possible and not skulk for the subsequent term to come this month of August, possibly. I thought of perchance going final on the pill and not for my subsequent extent to arrive. Is it possible? Would here be side effects?
