Tampon at 14????????????

I'm going swimming tomorrow at my friend's pool party, and I really want to go. I can, but the piece is I started my period today (Oh, No!). I was wondering give or take a few tampons. Hehe~
First of all, I want your opinions just about a fourteen year old using a tampon. I just want to wear it once tomorrow, so I can swim. It will be my first time if I do bring to use it, and I'm feeling super uncomfortable in recent times thinking about it.
I've heard stuff give or take a few "losing your virginity to a tampon". Is that true?
And if I do decide to buy one, which brand is best? Which brand has the safest, most comfortable applicator for a student??

~thx=]

Answers:    I started wearing tampons at age 11, I'm 34 now and prefer them over pads.

A tampon is not a penis, so you won't lose your virginity.

Try tampax pearl lites.

You MUST wear a tampon or moon/diva cup if you plan on going into the sea.

Most people say it's not a 'good' concept to use one at your age, but really if you can get over the discomfort of one for your first time I say dance for it. As for the 'losing your virginity to one' it is possible to tear the hymen using a tampon but it isn't very feasible. It all depends on the size of tampon and your body type. Try Kodex. I personally did not start using tampons till I be 20 but i do understand your situation. I would recommend Tampax Pearl as the best, especially for a beginner. Remember that if you can surface it or there is discomfort when it is in that mechanism its on in all the channel. Don't forget to change it consistently or else you risk developing TSS..
tampax is the easiest to use. bring the ones that are normal or slim fit and with the easy-going glide applicator. they're easier that the cardboard applicator. there is no style for you to loose your virginity to a tampon. wow, 14? i i started using tampons when i was 11. be sure to change your tampon every time formerly you go into the pool and when you get out, its the best method to stay dry. first of all, im 13 and i use tampons regularly. there is no possible passageway you can"lose your virginity to a tampon" tampax pearl is good to use (slim/slender) i just used regular plastic store-brand tampons for my first try, and immediately (5 months later) im using cardboard, too. theyre not that bad! i actually prefer them to pad. good luck!.
First of all, you can NOT lose your virginity to a tampon, and not a soul with a brain should tell you so.
Secondly, I recommend trying the tampon. It took me forever to obtain one to work (I couldn't get it in properly), but if you can clearly try.
Just remember to relax, and keep trying because it doesn't hurt.
Good luck!!.
I honestly couldnt tell you answers as to what brand because I newly got a period myself. You dont lose your virginity to any protest going in there though because virgin way untouched. so you only lose it by hyaving vaginal sex... And anyone can use a tampon. just dont head off it in for more than 8 hours(to avoid toxic shock syndrome) Have fun! i know a friend that at a girl scouts thing we go swimming in the lake when camp and she couldn't go cuz of her period (we be 11 at the time) so she used a tampon! so i think 14 is a little older for it ormaybey my friend was a little to babyish for it
hehe~.
well u cant loose ur virginity to a tampon because its not thick adequate to break the hymnal.. also i used tampons when i was 13 and there is no problem wif it. u will own to change it at least every 4 hours. use the playtex sport. they are so comfortable i dont even know im wearing it.. other use the ones wif the plastic applicator.. cardboards suck and they hurt Im 14 too :)

No one lost their virginity to a tampon. capably sweetheart. I started usign tampon at the age 13. Its not to early for you. THe brand I used is Tampax pearl.
1) you cant lose your virginity to a tampon! you lose your virginity ONLY when your vagina has be penetrated by a mans penis.

2)Its not to early for you to wear a tampon but it might be for a moment difficult to insert if your a virgin.

You should try Playtex Gentle Glide. It has a plastic applicator and it slide in profoundly easier than the cardboard ones. They come in slender sizes which are really easy to insert.

when you are just about to put the tampon in make sure:

1. that you are relaxed and calm down

2.get into a comfortable position like near one foot up on the toilet or try sqautting.

3.take a mirror and get a look at yourself because some girls dont know what their vaginal first looks like and it helps to know what your dealing beside.

4. when you insert the tampon make sure that its at an angle not straight up. Your vagina is angled so try to imagin aiming it towards your lower back not straight up to your belly button.

5. craft sure that you slide the bigger tube all the way within until your fingers are against your vagina before you push the smaller tube in.

NO, you can't lose your virginity by using a tampon, you will only lose your virginity by have sexual intercourse with a male.
It is mundane for a four-teen year old to wear a tampon, some kids wear them at age ten! It's unbelievable but it's true.
If your going to switch on using tampons, you should learn the dangers of them, first. Some those think tampons can cause cancer, no, they can't. A tampon is a plug of cotton, cotton does not create cancer.
Some people also think that bits of a tampon can spatter off of the tampon and fall into your womb. Nothing but sperm can overhaul through your womb, bits of the tampon will not fall off at adjectives. There is something you MUST be aware of, it is called TSS. Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is a serious but uncommon bacterial infection. TSS be originally linked to the use of tampons, but is now also particular to be associated with the contraceptive sponge and diaphragm birth control methods. TSS has also resulted from wounds minor to minor trauma or surgery incisions where bacteria own been able to enter the body and end in the infection.
The symptoms of TSS include sudden high fever, a giddy feeling, watery diarrhea, headache, and muscle ache.
Tampons themselves do not cause TSS. TSS is caused by germs called Staphylococcus aureus. When a tampon is left inside your vagina for too long, it creates a dependable environment for different types of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, to grow. To avoid developing TSS, follow these guidelines when using tampons:

Change your tampons at least every 4-8 hours or more normally if necessary.
Choose the correct tampon absorbency. Use smaller sized tampons when your flow is lighter. TSS occurs more regularly when super-absorbent tampons are used. Don't use these unless your menstrual flow is particularly heavy.
Alternate between wipe and tampon use. You might want to use pads at night, and tampons surrounded by the daytime.
Wash your hands before inserting or taking out your tampon.
Don't use tampons to hold your attention anything other than your menstrual flow. Only insert a tampon once menstrual blood is present.

If you experience the following symptoms while wearing a tampon, remove the tampon, and contact your health contemplation provider immediately! These symptoms may seem similar to the flu. If they crop up while you are menstruating and wearing a tampon, they may signal TSS. Otherwise, it might mean that you have another infection. It is recommended that you see your vigour care provider regardless. Symptoms of TSS include:

Sudden high confusion
A sunburn-like rash
Diarrhea
Dizziness, fainting, or lightheadedness
Vomiting

If you really want to swim, you hold to wear a tampon. I would suggest O.B or Playtex gentle glide Slim/slender for starters. (O.B does not own a applicator, you push it in with your fingers, but they're so tiny that you can stick them within your pocket!)
Playtex gentle glide have the most comfortable applicator, either that or Pearl.
