1) Most OBs aren't remunerated hourly. The annual remuneration will scope heavily surrounded by regard to the clinic, whether it's a private or public practice, the number of doctors, etc. Expect over $100K, but it will also involve mortal on-call.

2) A doctor will appropriate 4 years of undergrad, 3 years of medical school, and 5 years of residency. So formerly you go and get to net the money, you carry to spend over $200K surrounded by tuition.

3) An OB/GYN will enjoy appointments from 9 AM - 5 PM, though if in attendance is an emergency surgery or no other doctors within the practice, the doctor will be required to be at the hospital for any birthing emergency.

4) An OB will work Mondays through Fridays, but babies aren't usually basically born during the week.

An OBGYN will largely move about to a 4-year college, probably (but not necessarily) majoring in a science topic approaching biology or anatomy. They will afterwards shift to medical academy for four years, have two years of classes and two years of practicing (also call internship) underneath the supervision of more experienced doctors. Then they will do a residency. This residency usually last an extramural four years.

An OBGYNs rota vary seriously. Often they will enjoy to be available at any time of the afternoon or hours of darkness within command to give a hand beside a conferral. If they work at a hospital they may enjoy a more regular programme, of 40+ hours a week, but doctors other hold to be available to support patients if requisite. The starting earnings for a unsullied OBGYN will be around $165K/year, and they trademark more (generally) the more experience they enjoy.

Hope this help next to your homework assignment:-)
