I answered your other interview and dream up I covered your concerns..but Ill put in a moment or two here too. The metformin wont hurt you (although it does enjoy some heartless GI side effects). Make sure if you are on it over the long residence, you thieve a vitamin that have adjectives the B vitamins in it.

I also recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist (RE). Unfortunatly, oodles doctors (even some RE) are not amazingly well-versed in the order of PCOS and the correct treatment. My best cultured guess (without knowing you and adjectives your symptoms) is that your doctor is any insensible of why metformin is prescribed for women near infertility or that she think you might enjoy PCOS (even though she said she thought you didn't). However, subsequent time you see her..ask her exactlly what she think and why she requirements you on metformin.

If PCOS is your problem, next the metformin is your best bet at getting pregnant. Once you are on that for at tiniest a month, after the RE can donate other fertility treatments (such as Clomid or other further things close to IUI, IVF, injectables, etc). You really should be lower than the safekeeping of an RE (or at lowest possible a regular Obgyn-if you can find a angelic one). Good luck.

could i be pregneat?

It will not hurt you, but I would recommend that you see a gynecologist for further relieve If you are doubting the doctor's treatment, afterwards specifically see another physician. Metformin have be used successfully contained by masses relatives for conditions besides diabetes. You can read around this on Medonline.com for more information to confidence your mind for a time. Better on the other hand, get an appointment next to an endocrinologist.

Best wishes.
