why women prefer one of them?

Napkins remind me of diapers. They stick to your underwear and occupy your flow as it exits your vagina. I don't recommend them since they can become smelly and make happen chaff.

Tampons are rolled up cotton that are inserted into the vagina to involve your flow. Unlike napkins, they occupy the flow while it's still inside of you. There is no smell, and they are far more comfortable, at smallest to me.
