“We signed an agreement sooner this month next to Lucknow-based Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), which have developed herbal spermicide, base on commonly-grown plant “reetha” (spindus mukorossi). Laboratory test of the product are almost over. We are entering the commercialisation phase and the product is probable to be available within the flea market inwardly a year,” Hindustan Latex Chairman G Rajamohan said.

Clincial test by the CDRI have shown that the cream be free from side-effects and have a apposite nouns rate, he added.
