Can a blood pregnancy test be wrong if I took it too early...?

I am roughly 10 days post ovulation and took a blood pregnancy audition yesturday. It come put a bet on refusal but I am wondering if I tested too impulsive. Has anyone ever received a blood examination that be denial but you be still pregnant? My husband and I are TTC so any cooperative info would be great. Thanks!
