How risky is to be on Mirena? I had been taking ortho-tricyclen, but always forgot to take the pill.?

I am married, hold a 1-year hoary son and planning to dance to tenet university or grad college. My husband will also be attending college as in good health. We both work full-time and regard that family connections planning will run a long process. Did anybody switch from ortho-tricyclen to Mirena? And how all right did it budge?
