Im 17 years old n im going 2 hold a physical soon but i havnt had 1 contained by a few yrs, what can i expect?

since i havent had a physical within a quite a few years i really dont know what im surrounded by for..i dont smoke or drink very commonly, and im not on the pill, and im not sexually active. the final time i met w/ my doctor she said im not going to have a pap...but what else will arise?!

They'll probably ask you things like: do you drink? do you smoke? do your parents smoke? are you sexually live? how much sleep do you get at dark? They'll most likely check your blood pressure, and your heart ( if it's your nonspecific practiontioner), listen to your lungs (if it's your general practiotiner), check your go together by having you waddle a straight line (once again if you're at your GP's office), I don`t know do a breast exam since your 17 (that could be done at a GP or a GYN), perhaps establish some bloodwork just to check level. If you're going to your GYN, they'll ask a lot of matching questions, but also ask how your period are, if they're regular or not, then they'll definately do a breast exam, perchance put you on the pill if you're periods enjoy been unexpected lately, but that'll be about it. Nothing to verbs about.

Call your doctor's nurse and agree to her explain the entire process to you so that you won't be apprehensive about the call round.

Also, PLEASE make a mannerism of having a physical every year. That's why so lots woman call it an "ANNUAL". Having a regular check up will allow your doctor to enjoy a baseline to compare any abnormalities against.
