Brown Vaginal Discharge?PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!?

The past 2 or 3 days I own had brown vaginal discharge, I be thinking it could be my period, I've have my period since Janruary and closing month I got it around this time even though I enjoy been getting period every other month since Januray. So it's brown discharge and not to sound horrible but it looks like a loogie when you own a sinus infection. Is this a sinus infection or my period? Thanks Sooo much. And please don't right to be heard "Ask a trusted female" I know that and if the problem persists I will but I wanna see any answers I can bring back on here first. Ok thanks!
