Women please! tampon question...?
i have 3 question about tampons...1) is it possible for the tampon string to break rotten? 2) can swimming increase this? 3) how possible is it for the string to break off? i want to use a tampon to move about swimming but i am freaking out about the adjectives tampon thing!! please assist!

Although a tampon string could break off due to human being saturated next to water and thus diminishing the weave into the tampon, the chances of this occurring are pretty low, especially since tampons are made to absorb fluid. In the unikely chance that the string does break rotten, you can always relax your pelvic muscles and arrive at up to pull out the tampon yourself, sans string. Also remember that in that are many women swimmers out within; if this was a big problem later the medical world would probably be focusing on it a bit more!
Personally, I would try to not worry too much and would only use a tampon to go swimming a bit than to opt out of going swimming due to a period!

no it is greatly rare that the string will break past its sell-by date, water might increase the probability if you were within water for several hours, or days,even.I could see the string MAYBE breaking past its sell-by date if it got showery and soaked, making it less durable. But I've gone swimming in Tampons and it is completely locked, the chances of it breaking stale are probably one in a million.
LOl I know how you grain...but now tampons are the best entity invented for periods I estimate! The string is woven into the tampon so their is like no opening for it to break off.conceivably if you spent 2 hours screwing near the tampon spring it would break off from wear and slit but I garantee it will not break off basically from swimming.
get a playtex sport incentive they r made for swimming & other sports so it would probly have smaller quantity of a chance if in attendance is 1

It can start, but it depends on the tampon brand. It has never come about to me or my friends. It isnt anything to worry just about. If you buy a really cheap brand, it could but probably wont. I recommend Tampax pearl b/c the string is sewn in the whole tampon and will not break! Swimming wont do anything to bring the string to break. For it to brake off, in that is probably a 5% chance. Honestly. Tips: When swimming, MAKE SURE you tuck the string in your swimsuit! It would be horrible if it be sticking out! Or what you can do (this is what I do) b/c the string is so long, cut it so it is a lot lot shorter. It wont break even after that.it will not break of basically make sure after u grasp out the pool change your tampon and produce sure u hid the string
I recommend playtex sport er whatever. Cuz yeah theyre made for sports and swimming and stuff, and I really doubt that the string would break stale.
