Vaseline to coat tampon?

Ive heard that to variety a tampon more comfortable, you can apply vaseline to the tip. Ive also heard vaseline is fruitless for your vaginal area? Which is true?

i wouldnt put vaseline on it, that could cause an infection if microbes reacted to it and reproduced more fast.

also, if a tampon is uncomfortable, consequently maybe try a smaller size.

im sure here is some type of lubricant type of product out there made for vaginal use, so you could try that. something close to that wouldnt cause an infection since its made for that nouns.

Also don't put anything on your tampon. It's sterile. You don't want it to not be sterile. Just use pads or panty liner until your flow is heavy adequate that it will lubricate the tampon if it is that uncomfortable.
