Problem next to ovarian cysts?

Three weeks ago my gynecologists told me that I had a small ovarian cyst nearly 3cm. He put me on birth control and the pain still hasn't gone away, and presently I'm beginning to get the impression the same throbbing on my other side too. I find it odd that such a small cyst is so stinging. I can barely get through, urinating often, I own a horrible pain surrounded by my sides, I'm constantly nauseous, and really exhausted. My gynecologist never run an ultrasound, so I'm not sure if it is necessary or not. My average doctor just happen to discover it when I had a CT scan done more or less 4 weeks ago.

Can doctors determine that a cyst is a cyst with only just a CT scan for the general are of the pelvis?

For any women that have/had ovarian cysts, be your symptoms like this and how long until they go away?

I in actual fact had these issues up until my hysterctomy. I am sorry to hear that you are emotion so poorly. I have have friends that have be helped by birth control pills for this, it be not an option for me.
Edit: My doctor give me something for the pain. You may want to receive a second opinion. I used to pinch hot baths too that seemed to lend a hand the pain subside somewhat.

Help girlies?

I've experienced impossible to tell apart thing. One dark I was contained by horrific pain and go to the ER where the CT scan me and said I had a cyst and sent me home. The problem be I was already on birth control. The strain lasted a few days and still comes final near my time of year, so it obviously hasn't gone away I guess. But after this I go to my gyno and she did an ultrasound to be sure and then switched my birth control. Not much of a aid. I control my pain near advil and heating pad, it usually only last a couple days.

Period on Sat. Need to be "Clean" by Wed. Any advice?

Your doctor's viewpoint on pain medication is inhumane. If he/she be in this amount of stomach-ache I"m sure he'd not hesitate to embezzle something. So PLEASE find a different doctor and get something for backache. It helps to bring in a partner or relative to stand up for you on your dull pain issues. They can testify to the amount of pain you are have and demand that the doctor afford you something for it. This method has worked for me. As far as the cyst go, you could have something else going on explicitly causing you to be contained by so much pain not to enunciate that ovarian cysts don't hurt because they do. I know, because I've had various over the years. You probably have endometriosis which cause ovarian cysts, extremely painfull and heavy menstrual period that are also irregular. It is not that serious as they can easily remove the cysts next to surgery. But if you have endometriosis, you are surrounded by for a lifetime of severe pain so obtain that under control immediately.
