I have have an iud for about 6 months immediately. I have the non-hormonal one that last for 10 years. Sex is uncomfortable within most positions with this iud. Sometimes it can even hurt.

My hormones are through the roof and my time lasts forever.

I am 33 and I can't thieve anything hormornal, like the pill, or patch or ring- NOTHING. So it be either the IUD or tubal.

Has anyone else have painful/uncomfortable sex with the IUD?

Well what about condoms or a vasectomy (assuming your next to a long-term partner/spouse)? Maybe the IUD isn't fitting properly, make an appointment to procure it checked. Good luck
