Well im 13 and i've have my period for about a year so i dont know if this will back alot...sorry. But okay yes your period is irregular right now but explicitly a pretty heavy flow. I have a friend who leak through the same way as you and she prevents stains by going to the bathroom more frequently to adjust. Since it is only your third period its going to touch weird but try not to use a tampon bc that can leak through summarily and i heard that using a tampon can cause TSS which CAN head to death but thats very unusual. Also there are overnight pads which are REALLY leaky (there for when you go to bed) there bigger and much thicker so capture those and you can just change more.

Try changing your pad and tampon more repeatedly. Usually whenever you have the chance to stir to the bathroom and check it. If it looks full, or even halfway full, change it. If it continues more than a year I would achieve help.
My first 5 periods be really heavy because it's new to your body and it's getting it adjectives out of your system.

regular for the first few times. your body will adjust and become regular. Its completly normal - my sister went through this - she wore two pairs of pant each with a wad i them and a tampon.
