Me 13 year old get her period similar to 2 weeks ago and I felt that she be really ashamed. She wouldnt talk to me more or less it and I tried to tell her its lately a sucky think that happen to everyone. I tried to tell her how everyone procure it but she still looked sad and upset. whatever you do, don't try to talk to her give or take a few pads and tampons and how to use em and stuff. it would be kool of you to buy her some stuff [plastic tampons if u you will] and pad and pantiliners and what not and js leave em on her bathroom counter [unless someone's coming over. ha.] i'm 16 and i started at 14. i lived w/ my dad and that's what he did. it be funny and so sweet cause i guess he didn't know what to do so he bought a CRAPLOAD of different stuff. after his girlfriend [who his now his wife and their son [my brother] is properly 2 days old =D YAY] started trying to settle to me about it over dinner and i js looked at her funny and said, "tampons already come near instructions." that was the shutting of it. now i can js progress to my daddy and say, i call for femine stuffs and he's like okey dokey. you'r daughter prolly isn't distressed, js confused and worried. she'll be ok. periods suck ball.
