Do Taiwanese women shave?

Is it a general practice of Taiwanese women to preserve there armpits unshaven?
I traveled to Taiwan for awhile surrounded by the summer. I could not help but spot a large percentage of the women kept their arm pits near hair. At first I simply thought it was the elder women but after looking at it closer it seemed even the younger 20-30 year antediluvian women were unshaven. I did sense however that the younger women had exceedingly little hair within their arm pits and it was almost not appreciable. Us women in the USA are not as lucky we enjoy much more hair here. So please I am curious of Taiwanese culture. Is it more common to save the arm pits unshaven or not? Also what is the general practice about this issue in other Asian cultures?

Asian people hold almost no body hair
But yes, they shave if they want hairless pits purely like everybody else. Except Europe, where on earth nobody shaves.

Whats happening?

lol, what a funny give somebody the third degree?! maybe that's a rural segment of Taiwan where nobody shaves? they might have newly forgotten to do so after the hair have grown out...
Asians do shave! even my grandma does ! [ i once saw a razor contained by her bathroom ] this is not a general Asian practice for sure, my grandma is a extremely traditional woman.

so for your second part of your press, what is the general practice on the subject of this issue in other Asian cultures... um..

i regard the only one i know is that girls are not advise to wash their hackle on the first day of time. this is to prevent unnatural stopping of period. something to do next to blood circulation i think. not sure just about the reason but nothin happen when i wash my curls that day, and i enjoy been doing that masses times already.
