I own been on oral contraceptive for over 7 years. The first time you verbs your active pills consecutively, skipping the week of at leisure pills, you may experience some pain and spotting. However, a urinary tract infection can also basis pain and blood contained by the urine. If you only enjoy blood when you urinate it is the UTI, if you have consistent spotting afterwards skipping the period may be the cause. Skipping one period is not seedy and shouldn't detrimentally effect your body in a impossible way. I hold done it myself with doctor's okay so that it wouldn't ruin any special vacations. Some leak or loss of bladder control may also occur from a UTI. However, verbs to wear sanitary protection and drink cranberry juice to verbs your urinary tract until you can get surrounded by to see your ob/gynecologist or usual internal medicine doctor. Go promptly if you are experiencing bad distress. When you make the appointment be sure to transmit them you suspect that you have a UTI and hold some questions just about spotting while on birth control.

Any opinion's?

It is common to enjoy some blood with a UTI, but it's usually not duplicate color as when you have your extent. You could have both a UTI and be spotting from not taking your pills. If you saw someone give or take a few the UTI they should have prescribed an antibiotic for you, but its going to help yourself to a couple of days for the antibiotic to work. It's also possible to have a kidney stone, but you would probably be doubled over surrounded by pain.
