Laporscopic hysterectomy?
Answers:
I believe the term is LAVH, or Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy. They budge in laparoscopically to do all their clamping & adjectives of ligaments and vessels and next dissect the uterus, tubes & ovaries as free as they can. Then they go from below and complete the procedure vaginally by removing everything.
But, yes, reclamation time should be much less than conventional vaginal hyst. and definately much shorter than abdominal hyst. surgery. You'll be up and walking the subsequent day I'm sure. The hospital will brand name sure of that. And you'll probably be off of work roughly 4-6 weeks post-op. But, you'll have a feeling better way previously then, don't verbs! Enjoy your time off!
Good luck near your surgery!
P.S. If you're still fairly immature; don't forget to ask your doc about HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy), cuz this surgery will throw you into surgical menopause! Don't want to step thru that... ;)
Wow! a laporoscopic hysterectomy. I wish that have been around when I have mine. I had the usual type, cut along the bikini procession etc. I was walking like peas in a pod day as the op and surrounded by the shower the day after. With a laporoscopic I would assume that you would be walking and showering on one and the same day. Lucky you!
Does anyone know how to obtain a tampon out after sex?
a friend of mine had one...it be robotic surgery done laproscopically. She was bad work a week and a half and spinal column to her normal routine in smaller amount than a month. There are virtually no incisions so the healing time is much faster.my SIL have one end of January and go on a cruise 2 weeks later, she solely missed 4 days of work
