Anyone experienced this?

I have a hip that ache bad adequate to wake me from sleep... very soon it has started to travel down into the knee... I sometimes enjoy sharp pains and short periods of numbness contained by the thigh... most of the ache stays within the hip joint nouns... but the sharp pain will shoot to my knees.. no swelling or knots. notice tightness on the outside of my thigh area... I am 37 and own no health problems... average rise and weight .. Going to D.R. this week for it .. but in recent times wondering if anyone has have anything similar

Sounds like it may be a pinched gall. Sleeping in certain positions probably cause more pressure on the nerve and as it get worse, the pain is probably spreading. Ask you doctor give or take a few it being a bottle and s/he can check your spine to see if everything is lined up properly.

get xrays and an MRI. ( i know they are expensive) i have a similar pain and i am presently going to the chiropractor. i have several bulges surrounded by my spine and decompression therapy have helped. correct luck!
