Its completely normal, when i first started my length i only get a few specs of blood n it only last a day and later i even missed a month before it come again but very heavily. Three years latter and now i hold a medium flow. It adjectives depends on your genes and your flow type, some people enjoy heavy period some people enjoy light period, some people's second for 3 days and some people's ultimate for 7 days. You could start with a lighting period and after end up have heavy spell or the other way round.
and yes you can dive contained by with a tampon you can do mostly anything beside a tampon.

Yes, it is impeccably normal. For every extent you have the first and second day will be pretty fluffy. Its usually the second day to be exact the heaviest.However, for your first period its usual for it to be light the unharmed time.
Yes, you can dive with a tampon. But since this is your first interval and its light, I would recommend you don't use a tampon because it can be difficult to remove if nearby isn't much flow (of course, no tampon means no swimming!).
