Can excercising really stop you extent for a while?

well my friend is in track and cross country, and at one point she didnt take her period from february til behind may. (my friend is 15) she went to her doctor to numeral out what was wrong next to her period and the doctor said that intense period of activity will slow down your term. well after audible range this i got for a moment confused cause i play tennis approaching every single day for similar to 3 hours at very lowest, and my period hasn't held bad like hers have. i'm just curious if this is true, if excercise can really slow down your term, and if so how much excercise is needed? i really dont care mete out i just want to slow down this stupid extent i hate it. also have anyone else had one and the same thing begin to them and if so how much did they excercise?

I was a gymnast during my teens (in gym for at least possible 2 hours a day) and didn't get my time of year until I stopped doing so much gymnastics at the age of 16. I was skin and bone. Even later my period be very street light when I stopped gymnastics.

It's only when you enjoy very low body podgy that your period is artificial.

Yes, it happen a lot to girls who are remarkably active, especially if they enjoy little body fat to start next to. It also just depends on the human being.

Basically you have to exercise satisfactory that you have outstandingly very low body flabby - kind of approaching gymnasts.

It's not the exercise that stops your extent, it's the lack of body lubricant. Your body shuts down your period because it can't sustain a pregnancy. The body is pretty amazing. Exercise will build your period more bearable though.
