I think I might hold PCOS, need some sustain...?

I am now 24...although when I be 16, I had an ultrasound done for other reason and the doctor found a cyst on my left ovary... since after I have have no tests done to cofirm I own cysts although I would suspect I do...

Secondly, I have have regular menstrual cycles since I was a youth, although now suddenly, at 24... I own only have 2 periods this year so far. I should enjoy already had 5.. This have never happened back this year... I also have HPV.. my gyno didn't mention PCOS she lately said I may be ovulating later.

And also.. I'm TTC, we own not been trying long, but I'm afraid this may hurt our probability...

Any advice on this possible PCOS point?

My girlfriend suffers from ingrowing hair follicles. Can anyone abet.?

I would recommend consulting a regular endocrinologist. They have profusely of experience in checking to see if a woman have this condition. They will run a series of tests including blood to rule out more serious conditions such as Diabetes because the symptoms of PCOS can be symptoms of things resembling Diabetes.

After they rule those things out then they can look at PCOS.

Also, ask the dr to check for a condition call Non Classic Adrenal Hyperplasia. I just found out give or take a few this on Discovery Health's "Mystery Diagnosis". This condition can cause some symptoms similar to PCOS.

Allergy To Latex Condoms?

get tested for it is the singular thing you can do. Schedule an ultrasound for it. What in the region of other symptoms? Excessive hair growth? Acne? Weight gain?

Is this regular when 5 weeks pregnant?

I would schedule an appt. beside your gyno. I too have be told I have possible PCOS but I've never have any testing done. I be told possible because of my irregular periods and I own a little dark hair than the average girl. Nothing manly though ;-) But if you are TTC I would rota an appt. just to get sure everything is okay and that you dont need any special medicine to make yourself ovulate. Most women I've talk to/read about hold had to cart a medicine call "clomid" I think because they have PCOS and wanted to concieve. But I could definatly be wrong. Hope you seize the results you want! Goodluck with the TTC!
