How long should the hymen bleed?

My girlfriend and I had hot steamy safe-sex (w/ condom) and broke her hymen. There be average amount of bleeding of course. And after she later continued to bleed the whole morning, but then it stopped during the hours of darkness. She did get a headache at hours of darkness that stayed till morning too for the day. We assumed that she begin her period, but next today her bleeding stopped. Her period be actually due surrounded by a couple more days (june 19-ish).

What could have happen? Was she going through her perioid even? Did the hymen breaking start the period, but after stopped it? Could she be pregnant?

no worries. specifically 100% normal. some women bleed for 2 or three days. she's a lucky one if the bleeding stopped the following day.
