After 12 years of taking birth control pills properly, I messed up concluding week. Could I be pregnant?

Such a bonehead move, I still can't believe I did this. I wasn't paying attention and somehow become convinced that I was on the sugar pills final week. I normally skip those. So I stopped taking the pills end Sunday, and got my extent Tuesday, as usual. The following Sunday I went to start a different pack, and I noticed that I if truth be told never finished the last pack! There be a full week of active pills moved out. I skipped the entire last week minus realizing it! And, I have sex one time, right before I get my period Tuesday. I enjoy started the new pack and in a minute that I realize my mistake will use backup. But is the damage really done? The probability I could be pregnant are really very slim, right? RIGHT?!!? I'm 36, if that matter. I feel so stupid.

You have be taking them on time and as a rule for 12 years. You got your interval. You started your new pack and are taking that one correctly, so you're definitely fine. Don't feel stupid, everyone make a mistake, but after 12 years of being on the pill, even if you skipped a couple days contained by the middle of your pack and then started posterior regularly once you realized it, the likelihood of you getting pregnant are very greatly slim. I was on birth control pills for somewhat over 2 years, then I stopped, and it took me 8 months to return with pregnant without taking one pill!!

i agree next to the last response.. girls will start near sugar pills early within order to hold their period precipitate if they have an essential event coming up (like a honeymoon)... i've done it and the only side effect be feeling a bit grumpy
