Some birth control questions... and have anyone ever taken Yaz?

I'm supposed to be taking Micronor (progestin-only) since I'm nursing, but I never got the prescription jam-packed so I didn't take it. It's be 8 months so it's safe to influence my milk supply is established and I want to go on a combination pill. I be wondering about Yaz because I own some symptoms of PMDD. I have a symptom tracker sheet for it but I wasn't satisfying it out too dilligently and I'd need 2 months' worth of info. My period are so irregular and uneven, some of them permanent 3-4 weeks so it's hard to even find a outline in them. Before my babe I had a fundamentally regular 28 day cycle and scarcely any PMS at all. Would a regular average doctor prescribe it if I asked about it even if I can't hand over him that information? I didn't want to sound resembling a hypochondriac but something's wrong here. Any pill would probably help contained by my case but I'm curious in the region of Yaz. Has anyone here ever taken it or know someone who has?

Is it common?

I was dx'd next to severe PMDD 4 years ago, after suffering a very severe suitcase of PPD (postpartum depression) after my almost 5 year old daughter be born. I was on so frequent different antidepressants for the PPD, but when the PMDD came along, NOTHING help it. It was a really desperate time for me.

Back within October I began taking Yaz birth control. It's my miracle pill. I stopped taking other medication once I began taking it, save for an occasional Ativan and my Synthroid.

Definitely speak to your gyn about the PMDD symptoms that you are experiencing, and ask just about the Yaz. There is no reason for the doctor to turn down a request to try the pill as long as you aren't within a high-risk category.

The Yaz literally saved my natural life. I was suicidal every month. :( I be hospitalized once b/c of it... and once b/c of the PPD.

I wish you adjectives the best. Good luck, and I hope that you can talk to your doctor soon.

Oh... My period have be lessened by the Yaz, they don't last as long as they used to, and they are much lighter. Granted, sector of that is due to the certainty that I had an endometrial ablation put a bet on in 12/04 and I'm also within perimenopause... however, since using the Yaz I've noticed even moreso of a variation.
