Has anyone here had an osteopathic (D.O.) OB/GYN deliver their toddler?

Hi. I'm at the end of my first trimester and own chosen a midwife for my care but my insurance doesn't cover midwives. I be considering an osteopathic physician. Anyone ever gone this route? Are there any disadvantages or things I should look out for? Thanks.

Is it better to give somebody a lift birth control pills or to just follow my common period?

Hi at hand. The best OB/GYN I've ever had is a D.O. He have taken amazing care of me through one ectopic, a second trimester loss, and two pregnancies including one C-Section. Of course beside any doctor you should do your research. Interview the Dr., ask past patients, and carry a report on him or her. Most important is to trust and discern comfortable with your medical provider (will he/she respect your wishes concerning the birth of your child? etc) Also, masses times there are a group of doctors working together some of which may be M.D.'s .

Good luck and Congratulations!
