Depo Provera ask...?

I am going to get my first injection of depo provera, in a week. Is it okay to start have sex right after this injection or should I wait a few days? This will be my first time of anyone on birth control, I'm a virgin.

I am getting the injection because I don't think I could remember to embezzle the pills at the same time everyday. I enjoy read the side effects and warnings and am of a mind to give it a try.

Depo Provera is hugely effective form of birth control. If you start the first injection in the first 5 days of your period, it is decisive 24 hours after the shot is given. If you start the injections any other time during your cycle, you need to use an extra form of birth control (abstinence, condom) for 7 days. If you don't draw from the 2nd injection 10 to 12 weeks after the first, you can get pregnant.

Just remember, this with the sole purpose prevents pregnancy...not STD's.

PLEASE rethink have the depo! The side effects are awful! I was on it for four years, and regret everyday of it. You are moody, quality tired all the time, hold NO sex drive, and those are just a few of the side effects. Type into a go through engine dangers of the depo provera and read more first. To answer your grill though, I think it be a month until I could have unprotected sex after getting my first shot. There is a trial birth control pill coming out in July called lybrel that be just approved by the FDA. MUCH safer...and you do not find your menstrual cycle with it any. Anyways, I am not meaning to terrify you...I just know how awful it made my existence, and I know many that be on it for a year or so and had MAJOR condition problems because of it, and on that can not have children in a minute because of having it.

Use protection or you could catch a disease. Yes, even the first time.
Ask the nurse who give you the injection when you will be protected from pregnancy.

Never ever return with this shot. I was on it for 3 years and enjoy friends who was on it as all right. Here it goes I gain 28 lbs, had unpromising burning headaches, time totally stopped the whole 3 years simply after bleedin for a whole month, stayed depressed adjectives the tim, Sex drive totally dissappeared. I couldnt even was a live scene on tv lacking gettin sick. Doctors get kickbacks for this drug and wil narrate you none of these side effect have any article to do wit this shot. Please re consider. dont bring depo, the effects are horrible. i was on it for similar to 3 months and couldnt get rotten it fast ample. when i was on it when my husband and i would hold sex my vagina was pretty much numb. i couldnt gain aroused at all. i go and got the pill and everything go back to usual. if u dont think u can remember to steal the pill everyday talk to your doctor roughly speaking nuvaring :)

I have weight gain, loss of libido, horrible mood swings, and it affects your bone density in a glum way.

There are class endeavour lawsuits against Pfizer for how this drug treats women.

I was on it because of my scare of not remembering to take my pills BUT I am on Kariva (Pill) very soon and just set my cell phone to stir off at 5pm and help yourself to it when the alarm goes stale. Just set it for a time that you would normally be home and not doing much, filch it when you first get up within the morning.
