How do I notify an employee that her odor is unacceptable to other staff?

My employee is more or less 5'2" and over 400 lbs. I just relieved her of a available job she had be doing for several years due to errors and placed her in another position. Her self-estemm is at its lowest possible. She is able to do the work but, immediately is around many other empire during the day (before she have an office to herself). I do know from other staff that she have a hysterectomy a couple of years ago and the incision has never closed and it still drains. I believe this is where on earth the retched odor comes from and it gets worse as the afternoon progresses. My staff have asked me to address this near her and my boss who was originally going to do so have now back out and left it up to me. The problem is, if I explain to her others are complaining or bring up her medical problems, then she will know that empire are talking roughly speaking her as she has never divulged her problems to me. I hold to address this on Monday and can not put it off any longer next to the heat and humidity of summer upon us. Any suggestions?
