This actually happen to me when I first started the Depo shot. My period would final for about 2 months (light to medium). I spoke beside a doctor about it and he said it be because I needed a larger dose than what is normally contribute. Talk with your doctor

ok this happen to me. i actually spotted for give or take a few a year. i know it sucks. by bf and i said no wonder in be a contraceptive, it promoted absitinence! lol. but the doc said i could take some birth control pills too to control the time of year but i never did. 7 yrs later im really glad i chose depo but i would not run through that again. it sucked!
