Well honey it's better knowing what's going on near your body then stressing yourself out wondering what the hell is going on...
I would suggest seeing a doctor as soon as you can 6 months it slightly a while to go short and it's not good for your body..

To menstruate, the uterus, cervix, vagina and ovaries, as ably as the pituitary gland and hypothalamus (which are located in the brain and control the hormones which basis menstruation), must be working normally. There are lots of reason for these to not be functioning as they usually do, some more serious than others.
Pregnancy: is the most common effect of amenorrhea. Periods are not expected to resume until after childbirth and breast-feeding women may also find that they don't have period.

Recently started periods: For something like a year after your first period it's not extraordinary for your cycle to be very erratic or even to miss your spell for several months.

Lifestyle:
1. Major changes surrounded by your life, (new livelihood, sudden massive workload, bereavement) can create enough stress to kind you to miss your period.
2. Rapid cargo gain or loss can cause amenorrhea. In unique amenorrhea is associated with starvation or low body fat cause by eating disorders.
3. Too much exercise, recurrently connected with big dieting, can also stop your periods. Just because you're really fit, stopping your period isn't any healthier. Periods are a sign of your body working properly.
4. In some cases cumbersome smoking can also be the cause of amenorrhea.

Serious condition: Any illness affecting your reproductive organs or their hormones, such as a tumour in the brain (pituitary gland) as capably as any serious illness. Particular ovary conditions include ovary ruin, autoimmune ovary disorder and Turner's Syndrome. In addition to the actual condition, some treatments also cause amenorrhea, such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy and some medication. You should check with your GP if you're unsure roughly speaking any of your medication.

Mental health and heartfelt disorders: For example depression and pseudocyesis, which is a condition where a woman convinces herself that she is pregnant when she isn't. The psychological effect is so strong that her period may actually stop.

Hormonal conditions: For example hormonal or masculinisation disorders. Also if you stop taking a hormonal contraceptive your interval may not start again for anything between three months and a year.

Hormone problems are the most common mete out...

I too have other been irregular, my period would range anywhere from 3-5 months. When i be 18 my periods a moment ago stopped ((i went short a period for over a year)), i finally fixed to go see a doctor who did adjectives kinds of blood test such as thyroid, LH, FSH, prolactin, Pituitary gland ect and all come back foolproof..So she then tried a progesterone stand up to on me to see if that would induce a period and it worked, she tried putting me on birth control but i said i would not progress on birth control seeing how my husband and i wanted to conceive.
I know something was wrong and my doctor be not doing anything about it so i arranged to get a second belief and started seeing an infertility specialist whom after only two visit, diagnosed me with PCOS (polycistic ovarian disorder), he did some other blood test, tests that cannot be perform by a regular doctor, and to my suprise i had big levels of testosterone which is terribly common within woman with PCOS, along next to irregular periods and unovulatory cycles...I'm not sure save having period was the judgment for my PCOS but i did not doubt it..
At first i didn't think i have it only because i wasn't experiencing any of the symptoms besides irregular, unovulatory cycles but i did hold it..

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormone imbalance and can be mild or severe and basis all sorts of symptoms such as;
Irregular periods—periods that come every few months, not at adjectives, or too frequently
Extra hair on your frontage or other parts of your body, called "hirsutism" (her-suit-is-em)
Acne
Weight gain and/or trouble losing consignment
Patches of dark skin on the spinal column of your neck and other areas, call "acanthosis nigricans" (a-can-tho-sis ni-gri-cans)
Dandruff
oily skin
cramping

PCOS is cause by an imbalance surrounded by the hormones (chemical messengers) in your brain and your ovaries. Many girls also enjoy higher than conventional levels of insulin from the pancreas. PCOS usually happen when the LH levels or the insulin level are too high, which results surrounded by extra testosterone production by the ovary.

Don't let this problem waste time any longer, get contained by, find out what's going on befor it gets worse and cause other problems...

Good luck!

Need help next to a HPT question?

trust me our design are simply jus ideas. u shud dance to the doctor to see whats wrong. u never know what waiting this long to go to the doc might can motivation consequences. please go to the doc and put your fears aside. u'll be smaller amount stressed trying to figure out whats wrong near u if u go the doc and engender some diagnosis.

but u have already planned some reason why time of year can be irregular. however only a doctor can diagnose and exterminate them as being the problem

How to grow and nouns deeper?

After 6 months, you should definitely gain to the doctor. I know the thought of going and getting awful news a moment ago stinks. But it's better to get here early and find out that they're competent to treat something than to put it off and find out something is too far progressed. Don't freak out too much. It's possible you don't enjoy anything serious going on!!
