Is there something seriously wrong next to me? Bleeding through the pill?

My OB/gyn prescribed birth control pills to help regulate my cycles since I see to be constantly bleeding and having irregular period for the past five months. I be surprised that he said that I didn't need an appointment and afterwards he just call in a prescription for birth control pills.

I would similar to to know:
1-How many days after starting the pill should the bleeding stop?
2-What should I do if it doesn't stop? Could something seriously be wrong next to me?

Plan B precautions?

No i have be on two types of birth control methods and i have be told by my doctor that it is normal for "spotting" or bleeding during your non time time off and on. it take your body time to get use to the hormone contained by the pill. obviously if you are bleeding for a longer after a couple of days then you should see your doctor. and as far have having a manly doctor, my suggestion to you is get a womanly doctor, a woman doc knows more roughly speaking "woman issues" then men do. what do you expect them to articulate? "I know what u mean" also no "good" doctor prescribes anything b4 seeing you.

Can u still be pregnant after abortion if u have period?

I am on the pill for the same basis. It may take a few months to win regular again.

Be patient. I hope it adjectives works out.

At what age is the sexual energy at its summit?

for 3 months after starting a new BCP you can own what they call break through bleeding or irregular bleeding. it is ordinary for about 3 mths. you entail to give your body time to adjust to it.
if w/in that 3 mths you do not become aware of a change or if your bleeding is heavier after you need to nickname and have the pill changed to another one. you could try up to 5 or 6 different pills until you find one that works for u.
if you dont want to travel through all that see if your dr will provide you the "nuva ring" which is a ring shaped flexible piece of plastic w/ hormones in it that you place in your vagina and it stays there for 3 weeks. after the 3 weeks you pilfer it out for 1 week to have your length and then insert a alien one 1 week after you take it out. it have a constant flow of hormones which is less probable to cause the side effects (ie bleeding, nausea, mood swings) etc
