Ureteral Stent?

I just have a ureteral stent put in yesterday from my kidney to my bladder and I am peeing sooooo much blodd and I touch like I own to pee frequently but everytime I sit down to go t is basically a little blood. Is this usual? What else can I expect? It gets removed within 2 weeks but is is SO painful! Please any direction will help!
