At the end of your stale week, you can start the pill on the day when you would put on a exotic patch. The patch releases a pretty high horizontal of hormones though, so you probably want to use a back-up method if you are switching to a low dose pill, at least for the first month. Remember, you are starting a tentative hormone, so you may have those introductory symptoms again(nausea, breakthrough bleeding, etc). Good call upon switching from the patch, patch users have a 6x greater risk of blood clots than pill users(who are already at an elevated risk!). Good luck with the switch :)
