Depo Shot... unusual to still have period?

I've been on the Depo Shot for 2 weeks immediately. I was told in attendance may be some spotting in the first month. They said nothing of have periods, surrounded by fact, those are supposed to stop altogether, however, I freshly started my period. Its not spotting, it is a regular time of year, same amount of blood and all that. I be wondering if it is just my body getting used to the shot or what, and I plan on calling them and asking going on for it later. Just thought I'd inquire some of you ladies who are on it first. By the means of access, it's two weeks early, so that's what is throwing me rotten. I figured if I have a period prompt it would be different, but this confuses me in recent times a bit. Thanks in finance for advice!

I think conceivably they didn't explain it to you fully. Most women do stop having period on Depo, but not immediately. It may rob until you get the second or third shot beforehand they stop altogether. And it is totally normal to enjoy irregular bleeding for the first few months. You're just have a normal impulse. Nothing at all to verbs about.

Bleeding during the first shots of taking depo is very mundane. Breakthrough bleeding is a side effect of depo. Your period will not stop the moment you first rob the shot. Some women bleed for weeks others it stops thier cycle right away. It depends on how your body reacts the the hormones contained by the depo.
