If the gynecologist have said that it is safe to hold sex "once a month" (which I am not sure why it would only be locked once a month...), then I would listen to him/her. Whether vaginal/penile sex is safe and sound during pregnancy depends on the woman and the terms of her pregnancy.

However, oral sex will not be hurtful to the pregnancy. If your wife wants to furnish your oral sex, go for it.
