Depo shot after pregnancy?

i just have my son 9 weeks ago and got the depo shot until that time i left the hospital. i still own the postmartom bleeding is this because of depo or is a different reason for me to still be bleeding.

I hope you've permit your Dr. know about the continued bleeding.
I know the Depo shot can do some women to bleed (spot would be more appropriate description-for me anyway) for quite awhile. In reality I only have one injection and that was adequate for me to know it wasn't what I needed.
Now the fact that you newly had a infant does change things, ordinary postpartum bleeding would not last 9 weeks, but beside the depo injection maybe it's everyday, either course before you become anemic you want to check with your Dr. going on for this.

I am anti-depo. Sorry. I bled for almost a year. sometimes light, sometimes none, sometimes huge fear-provoking clots. I went rotten it. I tried it 5 years later and didn't bleed at adjectives.at all. It be nice but I also had no sex drive any.

My sister is an OBGYN and she said it causes bone loss. I get Mirena IUD and it's the best thing so far. Pills be Ok but I couldn't remember to take the darn things.consent to me introduce my children LOL.sort of.
