Premature Ovarian Failure and douching?
Ok I know normally douching have been considered wrong because "it throws past its sell-by date the natural go together of your body, and that our body regulates itself on its own". However, I was diagnosed next to Premature Ovarian Failure when I was 16, and I dont own a monthly cycle. I also cannot have kids, but i am not worried in the order of that at the moment. When I was first diagnosed(6 yrs ago), my dr have told me to douche every once once in a while to "verbs myself out" since i dont have a cycle every month to give support to do that. Does this sound correct? I hope I can achieve someone to answer who has POF.

I don't have POF, but I work surrounded by a women's health center and we treat family with POF. But we've never recommended douching for any of them, for only the reasons that you site.
Douching can head to vaginal infections and irritation, and is never recommended. And, since a side effect of POF is vaginal dryness, douching could actually cause that side effect worse.
As for the idea of it "cleaning" you out... the vagina is a self-cleaning organ, whether you hold a period or not.
To be honest next to you, I think you entail to see another doctor. The recommendation to douche is suspect, so I guidance you to get a second judgment on treatment for your condition. There are treatment opinions, including hormone replacement analysis and estrogen vaginal creams that can help beside your condition, but douching isn't one of them.
