Hello,
Yes i enjoy been using metaformin for a long time and it DOES back your body to regulate the periods.
Though even the doctors dont know how it works but research hold shown that it is linked to treating PCOs.
About the duration, economically it al depends on your body how sooner does it starts working on it. I dont think its long...around a couple of months...on average.
I reflect plenty of sex can also help you concieve.
Good luck and God bless!

What can you do readily to enhance your thyroid hormone production?

Yes, I was put on Metformin to assist regulate my period because of PCOS. It did not regulate my period, however. I was forced to stay on the pill to regulate them. Even when sour the pill I was inept to conceive. I have other issues in a minute because of the PCOS - diabetes, high blood pressure, podginess so I decided not to catch pregnant.

Since PCOS is still a relatively new syndrome nearby are no clear cut ways to treat it. You may have to try a little things before you are competent to conceive.

If you are overweight the best suggestion I can give you is to lose counterbalance. Even a 10% weight loss can work to serve you conceive.

Also, find a support group in your area, they can distribute you invaluable information regarding PCOS and conceiving.

Good luck!
