Have any other women had breast infections or abscess?

I've had surgery twice, frequent antibiotics, lots of doctors, etc etc etc. and still cannot get rid of it after 5 months.

As this is not a adjectives thing for non-nursing women, I'd merely like to bring some insight from some other women who have have this.

Should I shave or wax down there?

Where exactly is the infection located? If it's along the bra strip or in the fold of skin beneath the breast, this might actually be a condition call "hydrinitis."

This is usually a condition which effects the sweat glands of the groin and underarms, but can also effect other sweat gland locations (especially in areas of the body where skin folds form).

I merely know of this condition because my mother was SEVERELY afflicted near it. The only treatment that be effective for her be surgical removal of the lymph nodes and infected sweat glands, followed by skin grafts to relieve heal the removal of the areas effect by the condition.
Her condition eventually required mastectomy on both sides, and she had outbreaks within her groin area till the daytime she passed away.

I wish you luck; not abundant doctors are aware of the condition (if this is what you're suffering from) but there are angelic treatment programs at Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Center.

Dependent upon your symptoms and the courses of treatment you've already undergone, this may be the next condition to investigate.
