try using conditioner instead of shaving cream, shave beside a sharp new blade, consequently try putting baby grease on afterwards...smooth as a baby's butt ;) Works for me, very soon Im bump free!

Fragrance free (also color free) lotion (neutrogena, eucerin, lubriderm, etc) can help sooth it - don't use anything near scents though, because that can cause it to be worse.

A skin conditioning cream used day by day and right after shaving should help relieve the itching. However, I recommend using a creme that doesn't enjoy to shaved off, such as Nair, which I use. It can be wipe of or rinsed off within the shower, and no itching from shaving.
