Unusual spotting even when i skipped sugar pills.is that everyday?

I been skipping sugar pills and never have a period for 3 month immediately until yesterday when i was on a chronological active pill within my last pack and all set to take a brand bright pack active pill. Is it run of the mill? Its just spotting, seem like almost going to an back but still it strike me because i though skipping sugar pills would be guaranteed skipped period?
