Birth Control and Plan B?

I'm going to be starting Birth control pretty soon, (I've got Tri-Cyclen regular), and wondered if birth control would mess near the efficiency of Plan B if I feel the need to hold it?
Also, would Plan B effect the birth control?

Thanks.

I have stomach-ache in the lower right side of my stomach, for a time bit over my thigh?

Plan B doesn't interfere with regular birth control pills and vice versa.

I own been on the pill for over 6 years and I've taken Plan B four different times when I forgot to take my regular birth control. Taking Plan B didn't affect my regular birth control though and I've (luckily) never become pregnant.

Plan B shouldn't be used as regular birth control though. It should only be used for emergency.

Good luck to you!

Birth control and pregnancy?

If you use your birth control pills regularly, you shouldn't have to use Plan B, b/c Plan B is lately a large dose of birth control. Plan B's website is a worthy resource, but it doesn't directly address your question. This is what it does articulate.

Use Plan B when:
- Your regular birth control failed (your partner’s condom broke or slipped)
- You made a mistake beside your regular method (you missed 2 or more birth control pills this month)
- You did not use any birth control method

To get an answer to your press, I suggest to you talk to your doctor when he/she is going to prescribe the pills. They should know. Hope this help.
