Have you have a "looping" procedure to remove mild cervical dysplasia?

I am considering this procedure, however I dont know of anyone who has have it, and wanted some first paw feedback on what to expect, does it work to remove the pre-cancerous cells, will I be dissapointed next to the outcome? Is it worth the discomfort. If there is discomfort, I want to hear in the order of that too. My doctor said I could be on a 6 month callback to keep an eye on the nouns with colcoscopy and biobsy procedures. Thank you for taking time to relieve me decide what to do.

I have the looping procedure. It wasn't terribly self-conscious. I thought that the biopsy hurt worse. The looping was pressure but no niggle. After there be some cramping so if I had to do it again I would help yourself to some Advil before. I have some "shedding" after which was clear and bloody but not too much.

After I go back after 3 months to hold a check. That was 15 years ago and I haven't have any instance again. It's my understanding that looping doesn't overexploit your cervix the way some other procedures do. You won't be disappointed because the pre-cancerous cell will be gone and along with them the risk of have cervical cancer!!

I have be clear and have go on to have 2 children.

Good luck!!

How can I avoid breast soreness during my next menstrual cycle?

yes i basically had this done. they did the colposcopy and found that i enjoy dysplasia. it does work to remove the precancerous cells. within is discomfort, but i thought it was all right worth in, especially since dysplasia CAN head to cervical cancer if left untreated. if the doctor is suggesting you hold this done, i would listen to him. the discomfort is similar to a long drawn out pap test, except just a smidge more self-conscious. i would recommend aleve beforehand and after also. there is not a long drawn out agony afterwards, so i think it is worth your time. you will hold discharge and slight bleeding for quite a few days afterwards, but compared to what could become of dysplasia if treated, i would have the leep done. ihave to move about back to the dr. ever ninety days to hold it checked. its worth the time. there is other a chance that the dysplasia does not obtain completely removed during the first procedure, but that is why they check again after a few months.

Had a brown/bloody dischargewhat is it?

I've had this done and don't freak out too much going on for it. Its uncomfortable but not that sensitive. If it were hurting they would put you out or numb you. Because of having this I own to go to my OBGYN for a pap smear three to four times a year for a check up. You shouldn't be disappointed beside your appointment. They will remove what they need to and you may not ever enjoy them again or not for a long time. You will always still be at risk but its not that overbearing on your go. Good luck to you. http://www.thomasmedical.com
