Do Laser Hair Removal for the Face work?
I be just worndering if it REALLY worked? Does it hurt? Do you take scars afterwards?

I own light skin and gloom hair and it *really* did work for me.
Some lasers are different than others. Some are made for lighter skin and some are made for dark skin. Call around to different treatment centers and see if they have the right laser. IF they hold no idea what you are talkign in the order of, hang up. You don't want to budge to them.
You can get scar afterwards. However, that is simply if the laser isn't right for your skin type, you are tanned, or you are sunburnt, or are on lasting medications. If you dance to someone qualified to do it (I'm talking R.N. or doctor, not the doctor's assistant.. and they shoudl hold gone to several seminars and training sessions.)
Oh. and adjectives these people discussion about numbing creams. Don't do it. The laser should never be so dreadfully painful that you require numbing cream. If it does hurt that much, the settings aren't right for your skin.
BUt it does hurt for a time. A tolerable amount. My removal lady uses a babywipe to sooth the skin during the treatment. Afer she's done a few zaps and it starts to hurt, she puts the cool babywipe on my skin. Works close to a charm.

Yes its itchy but it helps, but the soul doing the laser should be a real expert otherwise scar could remain. Be very discreet to whom you go, be sure you know the personage and he or she have some type of a certificate and a right reputation.It's scratchy but not unbearable...but you can get hold of a prescription cream called EMLA which numbs your skin temporarily and is widely used near laser hair removal. It in general takes just about 6 treatments..not for me..but for most people. Good Luck!
Because she has shadows skin and dark mane, she really needs a consultation to find out if it will work. Normally, dark skinned toned people require more treatments because the laser settings can not be as dignified to ensure that the skin is not damaged. Also, share her to get a testing spot to make sure that the laser hand doesn't use a a setting that could cause and burns or scarring.
The procedure itself hurts a moment or two but isn't too bad. TThe attached site have more info.

yes, it works. really powerfully actually. my sister get it done a couple of years ago and she looks great. although, it DOES hurt, but it's worth it. and no, you don't get scar.
