How can i convince my mum to stop being old?

alright...she doesn't want me wearing tampons because she still believes that whole hymen proposition. i told her that it can't possibly be true because the hymen breaks naturally during things close to exercise and some women are not even born with it. and her reply be "well, how is a guy supposed to know you're a virgin?" and i said "he take your word for it. and these days, most of them don't even exactness."

anyway, we had a few conversations in the order of this and each time it be pretty much the same article and i still can't changer her mind.

i know i could go trailing her back but i don't really want to do that. my mom is awesome and this is the singular complaint i have around her. besides, if i have to ask her any question, she'd do the "i told you so" thing. *grins*

so yeah, how can i show my mom that tampons own nothing to do next to my virginity?

and does she ACTUALLY believe that or is it just an excuse she's using?
