I suggest you go see your doctor, it’s the best piece you can do for your health.

Is this colloquial after sex ?

phytoestrogens are plant derived estrogenic compounds. they can be used to overcome hot flashes and/or other symptoms of menopause. the problem with phytoestrogens is that they are not exact replicas of human estrogens and they are comparatively low dose. and secondly they dont contain progesterones. the control of phytoestrogens is that they carry low risk of endometrial cancer even within absence of progesterone. the minus point is that they are not as efficient in controlling menopausal symptoms.
the second piece of your question pertains to oral contraceptives. the routine OC pills (oral contraceptive) own high dose of both estrogen and progesterone. they will no problem prevent and/cure menopausal symptoms, however, the risk of thrombo-embolic events and other side effects will be higher.
that's why they enjoy designed several different drugs according to individual need. you can combine different drugs as needed. you can hold estrogen and progesterone in different forms, e.g. skin patch, pills, intra-uterine device (mirena). you can also have raloxiphene, tibolone, phytoestrogens, etc. for the exact drug suitable to you and the side-effects, the duration of drug needed, we will need more details here. god luck.
