Gagging, dry heaves - what could be wrong beside me?

every so often i procure dry heaves and start gag for no reason what so ever. i feel like i'm going to PUKE, neasous - but i don't and after awhile i steady down and it goes away...what could be cause this?

I am a borderline diabetic, high blood pressure (with 1 pill a daylight but this start even before i be on this med)
