Is it called the Nuva Ring? they insert that into you so you dont grasp pregnant..you can still have sex..you seize it taken out when you are ready to procure pregnant..and for mommys_lil_goodie2shoes...its not a pill you dont take birth control pills when you find out your pregnant..i.e. bad for the little one...The nuva ring is a rubber ring implanted inside of you..

Or if it looked tool-like, it may have newly been an IUD (Intrauterine device) which is shaped similar to a T and is placed into the uterus for birth control, it can stay there for several years.
