I personally imagine tampons are better because they can last longer and you are competent to go swimming and it is easier for running and adjectives that. I am more of a sporty person and a busy one so I don't own the time to worry nearly pads.

Tampons you can return with them regular, super or super absorbant. and It depends on which one you choose because if you are a heavy bleeder I would progress with the super absorbant until it get light and later go to regular.
